Chrome plating also known as chromium plating is the technique of electroplating a thin layer of chromium onto a metal object to provides a hard wearing, corrosion resistant surface that is tolerant to temperature variations. We specialise in Trivalent plating which is enviromentally friendly and we can plate onto new and reconditioned components.
For rechroming projects we remove the rust and old layers of chrome in a way that doesn’t damage the base metal, where the surface is damaged or pitted we may suggest polishing to give an even shine and finish.
